The former industrial space has been transformed into a versatile gallery, art studio and event venue, deliberately setting itself apart from traditional hotels and standard event spaces.

Whether you are planning a private celebration, corporate event, client event, workshop, presentation, exhibition opening, dinner or company gathering, our flexible spaces and movable wall panels allow for a variety of layouts. The venue adapts to the occasion, not the other way round. The versatile spaces are also well suited to weddings, meetings and conferences.
Art, light & atmosphere
At Freeart Studio, art is not simply decoration. The gallery and art studio create an atmosphere that gives events their distinctive character. An individually adjustable lighting system complements the concept, ranging from precise gallery lighting to evocative event settings.
Art, not backdrop
Freeart Studio is a real gallery and a working studio. The art is therefore not decoration added afterwards, but part of the identity of the place.
This gives events an atmosphere that can hardly be reproduced: guests do not move through a classic event venue, but through a place where art is actually created, shown and lived.
The bar at the centre
Our bar is the natural meeting point of the venue. This is where conversations happen before the official start, during a break or as an evening winds down.
Easy to reach – close to Zurich and the airport
Freeart Studio is located in Bassersdorf, close to Zurich Airport and with good connections to Zurich, the Glattal and Winterthur. The nearest public transport stop is just a one-minute walk away. Parking is available for guests arriving by car.
